About the Vendo 110  (Version with a coin mech)

The Vendo 110 is a large, coin-operated machine capable of holding 110 bottles. Lovingly referred to as ‘a beast’ by many due to its large size and heavy weight of 363 lbs.   Early versions of the Vendo 110 dispensed bottles, like all the machines before it, but in the 60s, Vendo recreated the 110 to dispense cans.

Features

  • The machine featured wooden a frame in the main door and in the cabinet, adding to its bulk. 
  • 1952-1959 production of the original Vendo 110.

The Vendo 110 is a collectible machine with the classic 1950s look, but it is larger than most.   The heavy main door is often an issue as it can weigh down on the hinges over time making it difficult to use. 

About the Vendo E110 Vertical 6 Case Cooler (no coin mech)

Although similar to the Vendo 110, the difference between the two is that the Vendo 6 Case Vertical Cooler (E110) does not have a coin operating mechanism. This self-serve cooler holds 100 bottles to vend, with an additional 34 chilling below.

  • This machine is not that common and tends to be a hit with collectors.

  • Weight – This machine is lighter than the Vendo 110, weighing only 200 lbs.
  • It has an arrow pointing to the door with ‘Serve Yourself’.
  • A small glass door opens on the right to self-vend.
